Noida

Now that you have come to know the wonderful resort I am staying in, take a look at these great pictures of the cities of Noida and Greater Noida.

As we travel out into the city, make sure to buckle up so that you stay safe.

And here is a view of the local scenery from outside my air-conditioned cab. A balmy 98 outside, but a nice 72 inside.

In fact, it is so warm they have built great shelters for the local officers and pedestrians to stay in the shade. Here buses can stop right in the middle of the freeway to pick up passengers.

As we are driving, take a look at the rustic and classic brick yards. Towering smokestacks dominate the yards. Ah, reminds me of my own smokestack back home.

Here is a throwback to all the magical folk out there. Apparently the ability to squeeze your vehicle into a narrow width is so prevalent in India that they actually have lane markers just for you.

Another odd site to see along the way is the little villages. Out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing else around, are 2000+ apartments. There is no local food store, or entertainment of any kind, just lots and lots of apartments.

Speaking of food, we finally arrive in the city. In Sector 18 of Noida is the Atta Market. One of the larger markets in the Delhi metropolis, it has great food stands almost everywhere with lushious fruit ready for the taking. Little Sheepie dig in!!!

You must be warned though, that you are not the only one wanting the food.

So after some careful deliberation, and a quick entry back into my enclosed cab, I found a more suitable atmosphere for a Travelling Froggie such as myself to dine. Bon Appetit!

Dear Travel Froggie,

Did you go to anywhere amazing today? What did you do? Did you ride in a taxi car? Did you go swimming again? I love you more than forever and forever and forever and forever. I love Daddy too.

Love,
Frog Prince

Dear Frog Prince,
I did have a good day. You should check out my latest posts. I took a taxi all around the city. I haven't gone swimming again since that first picture. Lovely pool, but I'm just so busy.

Dear Sheepie,

Breakfast was great. I had pancakes and bacon, with an omelet. Delicious. I am trying to eat a good mix of Indian food with American food. Today, I had some great Indian food. I had stuffed Kulcha, and then I had a Chicken Spring Roll. Quite lovely.

As for India I love it here. I would love to have everyone visit, but with so much to do I wouldn't hardly see you anyways. I do enjoy talking over the internet though, please keep up the good conversation.

Love,
Travel Froggie
